Coaching
What Is Coaching?
Coaching is a solution-focused, action-oriented partnership that helps people create and experience the life of their choosing. It helps people identify their Core Values, challenge their belief systems, evaluate what is — or isn’t — serving them, and learn why they are (or aren’t!) doing certain things.
Coaching pushes people to take the time to focus on what they really want and helps them discover and break through what is holding them back from success.
Coaching will challenge you to look at things differently, help you discover what you truly want in life, support you with designing step-by-step action plans for achieving your goals, and hold you accountable for taking action

What Isn't Coaching
A few areas that are NOT within the realm of executive leadership coaching – but often gets confused with “coaching” – might include:
Advice from Friends/Family: While well-meaning, their advice tends to focus on their own agenda and what they think you should or shouldn’t do.
Therapy: Typically focuseson problems rooted in the past and why things happened.
Mentorship: Mentors tend to give advice based on their own path or experiences within an industry.
Consulting: In general, consultants are hired to provide expert advice. They will tell you what todo and how to do it, but don’t hold you accountable for getting things done.
Sports Coaches: Help athletes/teams win and perfect their form/game.
